Campaign Design

Role: Graphic Desiger

D&AD Young Blood Awards

This campaign was designed to promote harmonious coexistence between humans and nature by encouraging small, impactful actions, like planting trees on balconies.

By integrating nature into our daily lives, even in urban environments, we can help create thriving ecosystems that flourish alongside human development. Through nurturing nature in our shared spaces, we can foster a world where both humans and the natural world grow and prosper together. The motive is to transition from eco-friendly living being an option to it becoming the norm.
The brief was to incorporate a literary, poetic piece into the campaign design, seamlessly weaving its words into the visual narrative.

Process

[some cool sketches made by people aged 10 - 70]

Our process began with a creative exploration, where we invited individuals to sketch their initial mental imagery associated with the word "nature." We wanted to capture the raw, instinctive connections people have with the concept of nature, so we encouraged them to express whatever came to mind. This allowed us to gather a diverse range of interpretations, each offering a unique perspective. By tapping into the participants' subconscious associations, we were able to create a foundation that would inform and inspire the rest of the creative journey.

[The sketches were then scanned and vectorised to used as a part of the campaign]

Outcome

The "Take Me Home" campaign begins with an innovative poster printed on seed paper, featuring a perforated design. This interactive poster encourages people to tear off a piece and take it home to plant in their garden or a small pot. As the poster is gradually removed, a hidden message is revealed on the back, completing the poem and affirming the idea that nature endures and remains present.
